Welcome
I am pleased to present our first newsletter! I launched the Institute for Embodied Wisdom in November of 2005 to accelerate human evolution. The Institute offers personal and professional development programs for individuals and organizations that produce profound change and new futures. The Institute emphasizes programs and coaching that utilize experiential learning and somatic practices enabling participants to embody their learning to create sustainable change and reach their full potential. In my work with over a hundred organizations and thousands of individuals, I have noticed that it always comes down to one thing: Those individuals and groups who choose to put themselves on the path of learning and do the work to re-shape their selves, find a constantly expanding horizon of opportunity and more satisfying lives. I created the Institute for Embodied Wisdom to support you in that journey regardless if you are already on the path or are ready to take your first steps. For the past five years, the Institute for Embodied
Wisdom and project partner Bridges In Organizations,
Inc. have teamed up to design and deliver the
Leadership Alchemy Program to the next generation of
leaders from NASA’s headquarters in Washington, D.C.
and the Goddard Spaceflight Center in Greenbelt MD. This past June, the Leadership Alchemy Program won
the annual award for outstanding instructional
design from the prestigious Training Officer’s
Conference in Washington, D.C. Project partner Dr.
Kanu Kogod, CEO of Bridges in Organizations, Inc.
and project customer Gail Williams from NASA’s
Goddard Space Flight Center were on hand at the
luncheon to accept the award. Welcome Hilary Howard! 
Some of you may have already met Hilary Howard,
Director of Executive Learning and Development, who
joined the Institute in January of this year. She
has assisted Scott with several corporate programs,
and will soon be offering some special courses of
her own. She is a professionally certified
ontological coach, committed to helping people and
organizations unleash their greatness to achieve
their highest potential. “I am very excited about the Art of Leadership
Mastery Program,” says Hilary. “Scott is using some
amazing break-through techniques to help executives
achieve leadership mastery, and we are seeing the
results. What impresses me about this approach is
that we can help people become more authentic in
both their professional and personal lives, leading
to greater satisfaction and success.” Hilary looks
forward to expanding corporate course offerings to
include programs designed specifically for
